Brad Paisley and Blake Shelton to Headline Georgia’s First-Ever Shaky Boots Festival
Country music stars Brad Paisley and Blake Shelton are to headline the first ever Shaky Boots Festival in Georgia.
The singers are among the big names heading to the event, which marks the first major-level, multiple-day country music festival to be held in the state.
On May 16 and 17 Shelton and Paisley will hit the stage at the KSU Sports and Entertainment Park in Kennesaw, just north of Atlanta.
The weekend will also include performances from Dierks Bentley, Rascal Flatts, The Band Perry and Dwight Yoakam, among others.
Festival co-founder Tim Sweetwood tells the Atlanta Journal Constitution, “I’ve always been surprised that there isn’t a large country festival in Georgia, so I’m excited to deliver what I think will be a great country festival for years to come.”
The Shaky Boots Festival is the sister event to Atlanta’s Shakey Knees Rock Festival, which takes a week before the country music weekend.
