‘The Fault in Our Stars’ Wins Big at 2015 MTV Movie Awards (Full Winners List)
The MTV Movie Awards aired last night and The Fault in Our Stars took home the biggest award of the evening.
The film won Movie of the Year and one of it’s stars, Shailene Woodley, took home four Golden Popcorn awards including Best Female Performance. Woodley, MTV’s latest darling, was also awarded with the Trailblazer Award for her rising career, which includes films like “The Fault in our Stars” and the “Divergent franchise.
The show was filled with memorable moments as usual, including Shailene’s sweet speech that Fault writer John Green to tears, Robert Downey Jr. receiving Generation Award (which was awesomely presented to him by his Avengers cast mates Scarlett Johannson, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, and Mark Ruffalo) and the show’s host Amy Schumer leaving no inappropriate joke untold, among many others.
