The Four Horsemen Return with Bigger Tricks in ‘Now You See Me 2’
Bigger tricks and higher stakes are what’s in store for The Four Horsemen in Now You See Me 2.
Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg and Dave Franco return as three of the four horsemen from Now You See Me, who are now joined by new castmember Lizzie Caplan in their pursuit to right the wrongs of the world while wowing audiences with fantastic illusions. Mark Ruffalo, Morgan Freeman, and Michael Caine are all returning to the sequel as well.
“People see the Horsemen as noble Robin Hoods, but I believe their first act was just the setup for an even bigger reveal,” we hear Freeman’s Thaddeus Bradley muse, and it looks like bigger is exactly what they’re after. The trailer is a fast-paced look at what’s ahead for the magicians, including coming face to face with a new (albeit less talented) foe, Daniel Radcliffe.
Watch the trailer and read a brief description of the film below:
THE FOUR HORSEMEN [Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, Lizzy Caplan] return for a second mind-bending adventure, elevating the limits of stage illusion to new heights and taking them around the globe. One year after outwitting the FBI and winning the public’s adulation with their Robin Hood-style magic spectacles, the illusionists resurface for a comeback performance in hopes of exposing the unethical practices of a tech magnate. The man behind their vanishing act is none other than WALTER MABRY [Daniel Radcliffe], a tech prodigy who threatens the Horsemen into pulling off their most impossible heist yet. Their only hope is to perform one last unprecedented stunt to clear their names and reveal the mastermind behind it all.
Now You See Me 2 will appear in theaters on June 10.
