Geek Girl Exclusive: ‘The Walking Dead’ at Dragon Con 2017

Dragon Con The Walking Dead Panel

I hope you all had a chance to attend Dragon Con 2017, and if you didn’t – never fear. I have your highlights from the best panel of the Con…. Behind The Scenes: The Cast and Crew of The Walking Dead!

I may be a little biased… as I was the moderator for the panel, BUT we had a full-house for the event on Saturday night (September 2nd) so I’m sticking behind my statement! We had a great discussion with our panelists Aron Siegel (sound mixer/splinter unit), Molly Coffee (set design), Matt Rodriguez (extra), and cast member Cooper Andrews (Jerry), and we had so many fan questions that I didn’t even get to play all of the video that I put together for the panel – which I have further below.

But first panel highlights, courtesy of Danielle Boise and ThreeIfBySpace‘s Robert Prentice (who did an amazing job moderating panels for The 100, Into the Badlands, Colony and several others!)

Walking Dead Fan Panel at Dragon Con 2017: Highlights

The video below I made while at Walker Stalker Con Boston (huge shout out to Walker Stalker for being so epicly awesome and letting me be apart of the TWD family – if you haven’t been to one of their events yet – Walker Stalker Atlanta is coming up the end of October – and if you’re a TWD fan you won’t want to miss it!). These interviews were shot to show during the cast and crew panel at Dragon Con, but there were several portions that we didn’t get to as we ran out of time (and that was even with starting 15 minutes early!). So even if you didn’t make it out to Con this year – here’s a little exclusive for you!

Missed out on Dragon Con 2017? Get it on your calendars for 2018! Same weekend every year – Labor Day weekend. Tickets are on-sale now and won’t be any cheaper than they are now. Until then, enjoy all the Walking Dead awesomeness you can at the upcoming Walker Stalker Cons!
