Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gaming Headset Battery Life

The battery should around 10 hours when you’re using Active Noise-Cancelling and the Bluetooth functions, if you turn those functions off, you can extend the battery life to about 15 hours.

The value of what you get here is truly impressive in terms of not only audio quality but also comfort and features at this price point. In the past, you would have been paying considerably more than $200 for a gaming headset that is comparable with fully loaded premium wireless surround sound.

I could say that the sound quality (which is amazing) is my favorite aspect of the Stealth 700, but I won’t. These are, after all, top-shelf gaming headphones – so stellar sound quality is to be expected. Though I do have to highlight my immense appreciation of the audio nuances in-game, like hearing the rich detail of footsteps complete with such fantastic directional accuracy thanks to the surround sound. What is my favorite aspect? The ease of use. These are genuinely a no-hassle setup, connecting to your Xbox One as easily as your controller does. Equally easily, I connected them to my phone while I write this to listen to the booming thrum of the Blade Runner 2049 soundtrack. Excellent testing choice, if I do say so myself. Combine the digital ease with the physical comfort – these are pleasantly lightweight, modern design with clean lines and comfy faux-leather cups – and you have quite the awesome and neat little package. I dig the Stealth 700.

A few additional technical notes for you: You do need to be sure that your Xbox One is updated to the latest OS, and you can also pick up the Turtle Beach Audio Hub app for compatible iOS and Android devices. It’s also important to note that you can’t perform firmware updates from the app – you will need to use your PC or Mac for firmware updates.

And if you’re looking for a little extra savings on this one, you can save $20 on this headset from December 10 through December 23, 2017 at BestBuy!
