Hulu for the Holidays!
If you’re anything like me you have extended family and friends and it’s starting to become expensive. I have a couple of siblings and between them there are 11 kids, not to mention the spouses and then friends with children. You find yourself in a situation where getting even a very modest gift for each individual person can add up quickly. Luckily, with the help of the folks at Hulu, I came up with an idea that might help you with those group purchases – the gift of home entertainment.
Hulu has pretty much anybody could hope to see. Children programming for the kids, movies, TV shows, and originals that run through all genres. With this in mind I set out to present a couple of families with a true (and budget-friendly) entertainment experience they could all enjoy. What we came up with was a bucket of family night. Finding some cute holiday pails (thanks Dollar Tree!), I loaded up each pail with the necessities of a true entertainment experience – popcorn and candy. And, of course, a gift card with 3 months’ worth of Hulu. Between the programming and the snacks, there should be enough t go around for everybody and I didn’t have to wrap a million individual presents! Tell me what you think of the final product below and if this is the type of gift you might consider for your friends and family.
By the way – Hulu has a wide selection of holiday programming right now. From classic TV Christmas episodes (Family Matters, Full House, Home Improvement) to movies like the comical Christmas with the Kranks or the raunchier Bad Santa. Enjoy!
