Is Joaquin Phoenix’s Documentary a Joke?

Joaquin Phoenix is shopping around a documentary called ‘I’m Still Here: The Lost Year of Joaquin Phoenix’, which details his efforts to become a successful rapper. However, many distributors aren’t sure if he’s serious.

The film includes scenes of Joaquin doing cocaine, engaging in oral sex with a publicist, and abusing assistants, as well as male frontal nudity and someone defecating on a sleeping Joaquin.

Casey Affleck, who is married to Joaquin’s sister Summer, directed the movie. Nobody seems to be sure if Joaquin is playing a joke on distributors or if he’s actually trying to get the movie released.
