Celebrate Valentine’s Day with Android Love in ‘2050’

Where do we draw the line as to what constitutes infidelity when the “other woman” is a synthetic being? Is it possible to really love a robot, as explored in a recent episode of “The Orville?” The satirical film 2050 takes a look at that subject. Can a human fall in love with something that’s programmed simply to give into his/her desires? What is “love?” No! Must refrain from Roxbury references!

Dean Cain lends his talent to Princeton Holt‘s award-winning 2050 as the man behind this new line of androids built to please.  Check out the trailer below, and if you’re in NYC this week, you can catch the film in theatres thanks to AMC.

Synopsis:

2050 tells the story of a married video game developer who is introduced to a warehouse that customizes androids for human companionship. Dean Cain (Lois and Clark, God’s Not Dead, Supergirl) plays the role of Maxwell, the mastermind behind the warehouse. Along with Cain, the film stars a strong ensemble of actors including David Vaughn, Irina Abraham, Devin Fuller, Stefanie Bloom, Stormi Maya, Jace Nicole, Shannone Holt, Hope Blackstock, and more.
