DVD Review: Semi Pro

Semi Pro is your typical Will Ferrell movie. If you’re a fan of his previous work, then you will without a doubt enjoy this title as well. However, to the avid movie-goer, there’s not a whole lot of substance to keep you entertained.

Semi Pro tells the story of The Flint Tropics, a basketball team that is about to be wiped out due their league merging with the NBA.

DVD Review: Definitely, Maybe

Definitely, Maybe possess all the cuteness that a movie of this genre should. Coming from the creators of Love Actually, one of my favorite romantic comedies, I had high expectations for this film. And while the film isn’t entirely predictable, the ending is a bit too cliche to earn my praise. Love Actually it is not. With that being said, it’s still a wonderful date movie, and worth checking out if you’re a fan of romantic comedies.

Interview: Lesley Ann Warren from In Plain Sight

In Plain Sight follows the story of a Federal Marshall with the Witness Protection program who must hide her high-risk, high-impact job from her family. To those that know her, Mary Shannon is a glorified meter maid, but her real job is much more dangerous. She must oversee federal witnesses who have been relocated through the Witness Protection program and make sure that they stay safe.

DVD Review: Californication

The dark Showtime series Californication is depressing and humorous as well as fresh and familiar for anyone who has loved someone that they couldn’t have. David Duchovny does an amazing job as the series lead, Hank Moody, a man who is clearly still chasing his true love, despite all the ladies he hooks up with in the mean time.

We had the honor of recently interviewing Kate Voegele on the Verizon VIP Tour. We joined her tour bus to ask a few questions about her singing career, her fashion tastes, and of course her role on One Tree Hill. Here’s what she had to say:

DVD Review: Remember The Daze

There’s no shortage of teen movies in Hollywood that focus on that last day of senior year. This film follows a group of students on the last day of school, some seniors, some seniors that aren’t passing, some juniors, and then that eager bunch of 8th graders that will finally be in high school next year. Being 6 years detached from high school myself, I can’t help but look back on films like this and want to shake the main characters into the reality that high school isn’t the peak of one’s life.

Interview: Krista

We had the honor of sitting down with Krista, a new artist on J Records. She’s a fun cross between pop, punk and hip-hop. She recently performed at the Winter X Games and Bamboozle. Her new album is due out this summer. Here’s what she had to say:

Interview: Mary McCormack from In Plain Sight

In Plain Sight follows the story of a Federal Marshall with the Witness Protection program who must hide her high-risk, high-impact job from her family. To those that know her, Mary Shannon is a glorified meter maid, but her real job is much more dangerous. She must oversee federal witnesses who have been relocated through the Witness Protection program and make sure that they stay safe.

DVD Review: The List

The List isn’t what you expect, with religious undertones and a past dating back to the close of the Civil War, this thriller sweeps into modern times as the power of the list lives on. At the end of the Civil War, a secret society was formed in order to preserve personal wealth. After his father’s death, Renny Jacobson (Chuck Carrington) is shocked to learn that his father has left everything (over $22 million) to this group.

Movie Review: Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

Who would have thought, after a hiatus of nearly twenty years since Raiders of the Lost Ark, the pulse jumping adventure would, or could, continue? Indiana Jones is back with all the adventure, humor and character driven action sequences to keep you at the edge of your seat.

DVD Review: 30 Days

Premiering with 30 days of working in a coal mine, season 3 of the series takes us through new ordeals such as living in a wheelchair, dealing with animal rights, same sex parenting, gun control, and even life on an Indian reservation.

Some of the episodes allow us a peak into world that is drastically affected by the 30 day experience…
