USA’s flagship legal drama, Suits, returns tonight at 9p EST with six new episodes, as part of the network’s 2014 Spring line-up. In the mid-season premiere, the opening episode picks up with Louis (Rick Hoffman) finding out that Mike (Patrick J. Adams) doesn’t have a file at Harvard’s Library of Student Records, and Harvey (Gabriel Macht) and Scottie (Abigail Spencer) attempting to iron out the kinks in their ever-so-complicated relationship.
Without revealing too much, let’s just say that the main characters appear to be mixing business and pleasure these days. Now that Rachel (Meghan Markle) has decided to enroll in Columbia’s Law Program rather than Stanford, Suits fans will get to watch her relationship with Mike head in a more serious direction – especially since everyone at the firm knows they are an item. Elsewhere, Jessica (Gina Torres) will also be undergoing some personal changes of her own – not only did she bend the hire-associates-from-Harvard-only rule, this time, she finds herself negotiating with Specter, as tries to convince her to make his girlfriend a senior partner.
Meanwhile, Donna (Sarah Rafferty) desperately tries to keep Ross’ secret from being Litt up, and decorated Olympian Michael Phelps makes a guest appearance to add a few more complications to the pre-existing storyline.
So what do we have to look forward to on Thursday nights? More sex, lies and movie references! Check out the trailer below.
