USA, which just celebrated its 20th consecutive quarterly win as the #1 entertainment cable network and is currently dominating summer’s television landscape with a record number of original hits, returns to Comic-Con for the third year in a row with talent and creators from three of its critically acclaimed and top rated shows – COVERT AFFAIRS, PSYCH and BURN NOTICE. USA panels will take place as Comic-Con kicks off on Thursday, July 21, 2011.

Making its debut at Comic-Con is the entire cast of COVERT AFFAIRS, with a panel moderated by guest star Oded Fehr. COVERT AFFAIRS, which returned in June for its sophomore season, stars Golden Globe -nominated Piper Perabo as Annie Walker, a young CIA operative whose exceptional linguistic skills make her invaluable to the Agency in missions that span the globe. The panel will also include Christopher Gorham, who stars as a blind tech ops agent and Annie’s agency confidant; Sendhil Ramamurthy, second generation agency man, Jai Wilcox, who’s intentions with Annie remain unclear; Kari Matchett, who plays Joan Annie’s no-nonsense manager and wife to Aurthur Campbell, the Director of Clandestine Services, played by Peter Gallagher; and Anne Dudek, Annie’s reliable older sister who has no idea what she really does for a living. From Universal Cable Productions, COVERT AFFAIRS is executive produced by Doug Liman and David Bartis through Hypnotic, and created and executive produced by Matt Corman and Chris Ord, who will be in attendance, as well.

PSYCH, USA’s current longest running hit series, returns to Comic-Con with a panel moderated by guest Kurt Fuller, known to fans as “Woody The Coroner.” The entire main cast will take part in the panel including James Roday, who stars as Shawn Spencer, solving crimes for the Santa Barbara police department in his own special way; Dule Hill who co-stars as Shawn’s best friend and reluctant sidekick Gus; Corbin Bernsen as Shawn’s disapproving father; and Maggie Lawson and Timothy Omundson who play the police detectives O’Hara and Lassiter who unwillingly rely on Shawn’s psychic skills, along with the police chief Vick played by Kirsten Nelson. Joining the panel will be creator and executive producer Steve Franks and executive producers Chris Henke and Kelly Kulchak. PSYCH returns for its sixth season on USA this Fall.

Also returning to Comic-Con is one of the convention favorites, BURN NOTICE, with Bruce Campbell, and executive producer Matt Nix with a panel to recap of the series’ signature movie, BURN NOTICE: THE FALL OF SAM AXE. The prequel film to USA’s smash hit series takes place in Columbia 2005 when Lieutenant Commander Sam Axe (Campbell) is sent to advise a local military platoon. It’s there he discovers deep layers of deception and ultimately realizes he may be allied with the wrong side. Shot on location in Bogota, Columbia, the two-hour movie is directed by BURN NOTICE star Jeffrey Donovan. BURN NOTICE: THE FALL OF SAM AXE also stars Ron Reaco Lee, Kiele Sanchez , John Diehl and Chandra West. The prequel is written and executive produced by BURN NOTICE creator Matt Nix. Donovan and Campbell also serve as executive producers on the Fox Television Studios project alongside the show’s Mikkel Bondesen.
