Emma Watson Is Single

Emma Watson has split from her rugby player boyfriend Matthew Janney after a year of dating.

The Harry Potter star’s spokesperson told Britain’s Daily Mail newspaper that the pair broke up a month ago (Nov14) and insisted the parting was “amicable”

Watson’s hectic work schedule combined with Janney’s studies at England’s prestigious Oxford University meant the couple could not make their relationship work.

The star’s spokesperson also revealed that, contrary to reports, the pair had not moved in to live together.

Maybe now fans who recently pushed for Harry Styles and Emma to get together may be able to get their wish! The two were photographed together earlier this month at the British Fashion Awards, where Styles presented her with the British Style honor and it wasn’t long before One Direction fans voiced their approval of the two as a couple.

Watson is currently busy filming political drama Colonia Dignidad and also has finished a thriller, Regression, that will hit theaters next year.
