New ‘The X-Files’ Poster Features Familiar Silhouette

William B. Davis’ Cigarette-Smoking Man is front and center, or at least his shadow is, in the new poster for The X-Files.

The latest piece of promo for the return of one of their most beloved shows features the familiar shadow of the mysterious Cigarette-Smoking Man, father of Mulder (David Duchovny) and keeper of secrets.

Take a look at the poster below:

Along with William B. Davis, original X-Files stars David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson and Mitch Pileggi also return as FBI Agents Fox Mulder, Dana Scully and Walter Skinner. It was previously announced that Joel McHale (Community), Robbie Amell (The Flash) and Lauren Ambrose (Dig, Six Feet Under), Annabeth Gish (The Bridge), Annet Mahendru (The Americans), Rhys Darby (Flight of the Conchords) and Kumail Nanjiani (Silicon Valley) will guest star.

Series production vets Glen Morgan and James Wong are also confirmed to return writers-producers.

The X-Files returns to FOX with a special two-night event beginning Sunday, Jan. 24 (10:00-11:00 PM ET/7:00-8:00 PM PT), following the NFC Championship game and continuing with its normal time period premiere on Monday, Jan. 25 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT).
