3

Following Thursday’s release of the 2009 Academy Award nominees, MovieTickets.com asked moviegoers to indentify this year’s biggest Oscar snub. “The Dark Knight” was an overwhelming winner at 46 percent, followed by Clint Eastwood’s “Gran Torino” performance (28%).

Which of the following should’ve been nominated for an Academy Award?

1. “The Dark Knight,” Best Picture (46%)
2. Clint Eastwood (“Gran Torino”), Best Actor (28%)
3. Leonardo DiCaprio (“Revolutionary Road”), Best Actor (11%)
4. Christopher Nolan (“The Dark Knight”), Best Director (8%)
5. Bruce Springsteen (“The Wrestler”), Original Song (7%)

Who do you think should have been nominated?

  1. Rosemarie DeWitt from Rachel Getting Married should’ve been nominated for Best Supporting Actress. I agree with The Dark Knight snub too.

  2. I agree that the Dark Knight should have been nominated. I was surprised it didn’t get best screenplay. It was really well written
