Vanessa Hudgens To Play Werewolf In Twilight Sequel?

Singer/actress VANESSA HUDGENS is fighting to play a werewolf in the third TWILIGHT film.

Reports have suggested the High School Musical star auditioned for a role in sequel New Moon – but screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg, who is adapting Stephenie Meyers’ vampire romance novels into films, has confirmed Hudgens has her sights set on a meaty character in the third film.

She tells People.com, “I had heard Vanessa Hudgens was going up for the part of Leah. At the moment, the part of Leah doesn’t happen until the third movie.”

Leah Clearwater is a lead werewolf in Meyers’ third Twilight novel.
