Oliver Platt Joins ‘X-Men: First Class’

Oliver Platt (The Big C) is the latest addition to the cast of ‘X-Men: First Class’. He will be playing “the Man in Black,” a role that appears to have been created specifically for the movie.

Platt joins the recently announced Rose Byrne (Moira MacTaggert) in the film, which also features James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Rose Byrne, Alice Eve, Kevin Bacon, Nicholas Hoult, Jennifer Lawrence, Caleb Landry Jones, Lucas Till, Edi Gathegi and Jason Flemyng. The most notable part yet to be cast is that of Scott Summers, aka Cyclops.
