DVD Review: Full House: Season 2
The antics continue in the third season of Full House. Set in San Francisco, this is a show about a very loving family headed by Danny Tanner, who became a single father when his wife was killed in a car accident. Danny’s brother-in-law, Jesse and and his best friend, Joey, move into the house to help Danny raise his three daughters D.J., Stephanie, and Michelle. This season, D.J. begins junior high, Stephanie becomes acclimated to elementary school without her big sister around and Michelle celebrates her third birthday!
Review:
A lot of us grew up watching Full House. It was our favorite part of the TGIF line up, one of the four shows that made Friday night the best night of the week. With this show now being available on dvd, we can recreate the Fridays we so loved.
The characters are sweet and loveable, and the family as a whole is a family that everyone will admire. And if that’s not enough, you’ll even get a guest appearance from the Beach Boys.
The special features on this set are seriously lacking, and that is the only real downside. If you were a Full House fan, then picking up this set is a given. Or if you’re just looking for some good clean entertainment you can’t do any better. Kids won’t be able to get enough of it, college students will love re-watching the episodes they grew up with, and adults will find this type of entertainment a break from the types of shows we have on the air today.
