New Line Cinema and Renaissance Pictures present a return to the iconic horror franchise, Evil Dead Rise, from writer/director Lee Cronin (“The Hole in the Ground”). The movie stars Lily Sullivan (“I Met a Girl,” “Barkskins”), Alyssa Sutherland (“The Mist,” “Vikings”), Morgan Davies (“Storm Boy,” “The End”), Gabrielle Echols (“Reminiscence”), and introducing Nell Fisher (“Northspur”).

Moving the action out of the woods and into the city, Evil Dead Rise tells a twisted tale of two estranged sisters, played by Sutherland and Sullivan, whose reunion is cut short by the rise of flesh-possessing demons, thrusting them into a primal battle for survival as they face the most nightmarish version of family imaginable.

  1. Really enjoyed the remake from 2013 (I think that’s the right year)! The originals are so camp & this one looks killer…would love to win passes!

  2. I’m a Evil Dead fan, but more on Evil Dead 1! I always wanted to see more sequels take more on ED1’s roots. Comedy in the later entries is good, but I don’t want people to forget that the series started as pure horror, including that the Deadites were really threatening with their taunts.

  3. I seen them all over and over again , Evil dead movies are my favorite , scary and they also like to drop a little comedy in the seems to make it a scary funny rollercoaster ride!

  4. Can’t wait to see this one there my favorite horror movies because there scary but then they twist it up with a little comedy to keep it versatile great concept on these movies

  5. Everyone that submitted a comment before 4pm EST on Thursday, March 30 – is a winner! Check your inboxes for more details! Congrats!! 🙂
