ANGELINA JOLIE needs to be careful if she wins her second Academy Award this year (09), after misplacing the first statuette she received at the prestigious ceremony.
The actress has been nominated for a Best Actress prize for her performance in Changeling and will go up against Anne Hathaway, Kate Winslet, Melissa Leo and Meryl Streep in the category on the 22 February.
But if she walks away victorious, she won’t be able to pair the gong with the Best Supporting Actress award she won in 1999 for Girl, Interrupted – because she has no clue where that Oscar is.
Jolie handed it to her mother Marcheline Bertrand, who hid it away, but has since died.
She explains, “I didn’t actually lose it. But nobody knows where it is at the moment.”
