‘Sleepy Hollow’ Stars Tom Mison and Nicole Beharie Tease Season 2

At San Diego Comic Con 2014, Sleepy Hollow stars Tom Mison and Nicole Beharie, along with series EPs Mark Goffman and Heather Kadin, talked to press about what’s coming up for our favorite characters in the new season.

Tom revealed that we would be getting more characters’ backstories this season saying, ” There was a lot of Ichabod’s past explored in the first season. And for a lot of it, in this second season we’re going to keep exploring that, with Katrina and Ichabod’s ex and there’s a lot more of Abbie’s background as well. In fact, all of the characters…we’ve met them all, now we can start exploring them all a bit deeper.”

Nicole Behari’s character Abbie is a strong-willed woman and she had this to say about the presence of strong women on the show, “We have quite a few strong women on the show! We have a new sheriff, Lina Reyes, she’s a pretty brave, very strong woman, Sakina Jaffrey. Katia, uh actually all of our women are pretty strong-willed and forceful, moreso than any other show that I know of.”

There’s definitely more trouble on the horizon, but at least Ichabod has found a place to refresh his wardrobe! Watch the video below for the full interview.

What do you guys think? Is Katrina still a good guy, or are our heroes going to have to fight her, too?

Sleepy Hollow returns to Fox on September 22nd!
