Taylor Swift, Jessica Chastain and More Remember 9/11 Attacks
Taylor Swift, Jessica Chastain and Lady Gaga are among the stars who have taken to the Internet to mark 13 years since the terrorist atrocities of 9/11.
New York City was devastated by the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon on 11 September, 2001, which – along with a downed airliner in Pennsylvania on the same day – claimed almost 3,000 lives.
Some of the world’s biggest stars joined together today to mark 13 years since the horrifying events, with pop superstar Lady Gaga writing in a post on her Twitter page, “Today we remember and honour all the lives + families ruined by the tragedy of 9/11. Practice love in their memory today #WeWillNeverForget (sic).”
