Snoop Dogg Promises Concert If Alaskans Pass Marijuana Legalization Bill

Snoop Dogg has promised to hold a concert in Alaska if voters in the state pass a bill to legalize marijuana in November.

The hip-hop star has always been open about his recreational weed habit and wants to encourage his Alaskan fans to vote for the drug to be decriminalized.

During an installment of his YouTube web series Double G News Network, he says, “If we get y’all to vote yes on Proposition 2, Snoop Dogg is coming to Alaska to do a concert, a wellness retreat concert, and I’m bringing some of that California (drug) with me to celebrate… in a real way, I’m too serious, I’m serious as motherf**ker right now. If they vote yes on that, I’m locking and loading, I’m coming out there and and I’m doing a concert for y’all.”

The Alaska Marijuana Legalization, Ballot Measure 2 vote takes place on November 4.

If passed, citizens aged over 21 will be able to possess small quantities of the drug. The manufacture, sale and possession of related paraphernalia will also be legal.
