TNT Cancels ‘Dallas’
TNT has cancelled Dallas after three seasons. The series was revamped by executive producer Cynthia Cidre and her team in 2012, but the show won’t be back for a fourth run.
The new Dallas brought back many of the original characters from the 198’0s series, including the late Larry Hagman’s ruthless oil tycoon J.R. Ewing, Patrick Duffy’s Bobby Ewing and Linda Gray’s Sue Ellen Ewing, and introduced new characters played by Jesse Metcalfe, Jordana Brewster and Josh Henderson.
Hagman’s 2012 death was written into the second season of the revamped show. The 81-year-old actor died from complications of leukemia.
