Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg Team Back Up for ‘Daddy’s Home’
Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg are re-teaming for a comedy called Daddy’s Home.
The actors previously starred in buddy cop film The Other Guys in 2010 which was a huge success, grossing over $150 million, and now they pair are joining forces once again.
Daddy’s Home centers on Ferrell playing a mild-mannered radio executive who strives to become the best stepdad to his wife’s two children, but he hits a roadblock once the kids’ freeloading biological father, played by Wahlberg, arrives and the two men compete for the affection of the children.
Horrible Bosses 2 director Sean Anders is set to take charge and Red Granite Pictures will co-produce, with production slated to begin later this year.
We think the premise for this sounds like it will lend itself to tons of laughs, but let us know what you think of the two hitting the big screen together again in the comments below!
