Drake Tapped to Curate Art Exhibit at Sotheby’s
Drake has been enlisted to help curate a special exhibition at top auction house Sotheby’s, featuring the work of renowned African-American artists.
The rapper has teamed up with bosses at the organization’s New York headquarters for their upcoming exhibit of contemporary works by black artists.

Drake will choose music to preview some of the art, and the tracks will play at listening stations set up throughout the showcase, which will feature pieces by Rashid Johnson and Jean-Michel Basquiat.
A representative for Sotheby’s calls the rapper one of today’s “foremost cultural tastemakers”, and reveals that Drake is not being paid for his curating services.
The exhibit will begin on April 28 and run until June 12.
Do you think Drake is up to the task of curating the exhibit? We’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!
