This Week on Hulu: ‘Deadbeat,’ ‘The Last Ship,’ ‘The Messengers’

Hulu has a lot of additions and new seasons arriving in the upcoming days.

Here’s a list of all the new TV shows being added to the lineup for the week of April 15th through April 22nd:

THE LAST SHIP – SEASON ONE

The Last Ship opens with a global catastrophe that nearly decimates the world’s population. Because of its positioning, the Navy destroyer U.S.S. Nathan James avoids falling victim to the tragedy. Now the crew and captain must confront the reality of their new existence in a world where they may be among the few remaining survivors.

Friday, April 17th

THE MESSENGERS – SERIES PREMIERE (CW)

A mysterious object plummets to Earth and explodes in a blinding flash, sending out a shock wave that instantly connects five strangers with extraordinary gifts, from inexplicable strength to the ability to heal others. Most mysterious of all is a figure known only as The Man, who brings death and suffering wherever he appears. The wheels of Revelation have begun to turn, and these five newly christened Angels of the Apocalypse may be the only hope for preventing the impending Rapture.

Monday, April 20th

DEADBEAT – SEASON TWO PREMIERE (Hulu Original)

Medium-for-hire Pac is back in season two of Hulu Original Deadbeat. A romance is brewing between him and the recently deceased Sue, adding a new complication to his hapless, stoner existence. Pac knows what’s keeping Sue from reaching the afterlife, but he’s not telling lest he lose her for good. How many ghosts will he have to help to protect his secret?

EVIL BONG 420 – MOVIE PREMIERE

Polish your balls, and head to the lanes. Rabbit has escaped the Evil Bong’s World of Weed and has opened a topless bowling alley. When his old friends Larnell and Sarah Leigh stop by to help him celebrate his wacky new business venture, things are finally looking up for Rabbit, right? Wrong! Evil Bong is hot on Rabbit’s trail. With the help of the murderous Gingerdead Man, they crash the most balls-out party of the century. But Gingerdead Man has plans of his own when he learns that the secret to becoming a real man is getting his cookies off.

Remember, Hulu offers current programming and new episodes usually air within a day of the original broadcast in addition to complete seasons of previously aired show. We will, of course, keep you informed of any changes that might happen throughout the month.
