Bobby Brown on Daughter Bobbi Kristina’s Death: ‘Krissy Was and Is an Angel’
Bobby Brown has spoken out about the tragic death of his and Whitney Houston’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina.
Brown passed away yesterday after spending 6 months in a medically-induced coma, and now her father R&B singer Bobby Brown has released a statement.
Krissy was and is an angel. I am completely numb at this time. My family must find a way to live with her in spirit and honor her memory. Our loss is unimaginable,” he told ET. “We thank everyone for the prayers for Krissy and our family as we mourn my baby girl.”
Brown was found face down and unresponsive in a bathtub on Jan. 31 by her boyfriend at the time Nick Gordon, who performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on her before emergency medics arrived at the couple’s home in Roswell, GA and took the unconscious 21-year-old to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, Brown never awoke from said coma.
“Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away July, 26 2015, surrounded by her family,” the Houston family said in a statement released after her death. “She is finally at peace in the arms of God. We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months.”
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Brown and Houston families during this difficult time.
