Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard are tapping into their alter egos, Empire heavyweights Cookie and Lucious Lyon, and bringing a special musical event to FOX.

The co-stars are set to co-host Taraji and Terrence’s White Hot Holidays , an all-new music and variety special in December. The hour-long show will feature a special duet by Henson and Howard and modern performances of classic holiday songs by guests including Mary J. Blige, John Legend and Jamie Foxx, among other guests and performances. It’s sure to be a night of fun and unexpected surprises.

This is just the latest example of how FOX is blurring the lines between TV and reality, with Empire star Jussie Smollett  revealing that, like his character Jamal Lyon, the real-life artist will also be one of the new faces of Pepsi.

Don’t miss Taraji and Terrence’s White Hot Holidays , Wednesday, Dec. 9 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
