‘Breaking Dawn’ Racks Up Another Potential Academy Award Winning Director

‘Breaking Dawn’ is sure to be a hit, as Summit seems to be looking for only the best in the pool of directors out there, including their latest edition of picks, director Stephen Daldry. Daldry is best known for his directing positions for the Academy Award Winning movies, “Billy Elliot,” “The Reader” and “The Hours”. Daldry is a rare filmmaker who has been nominated for every film he has made.

As we are awaiting the final decision from Summit on their pick, I think it is safe to say that Gus Van Sant, Sofia Coppola, and Bill Condon now have quite a bit of competition on their hands.
