I’m going to go on record and state that 2018’s Halloween Horror Nights in Orlando is going to be the event of the season. Universal’s yearly haunted attraction has increased in size and scale, bringing in cult favorites both old and new, along with incorporating one of the most beloved series in recent memory, Stranger Things.
Just when we thought HHN couldn’t cater more to fans, two more announcements came down. A new scare zone themed after everyone’s favorite killer doll, Chucky, will allow guests to “enter a toy fair turned lethal, filled with diabolical twists on childhood toys from the past. They will be stalked by possessed toys – such as murderous monkeys, a board game turned deadly and more. And, guests will come face-to-face with the world’s deadliest doll.”
Now, if you’re a kid of the ‘80s like I am, that is a pretty cool bit of nostalgia, but it gets even better. The cult classic murderous jokers known as the Killer Klowns from Outer Space are also getting a scare zone all to their own! A sight to be hold, I have no doubt as “the sweet smell of cotton candy will invite guests inside – but they will soon realize that the treats are spun from unsuspecting victims, and they’re next on the list. Guests will try to escape the killer klowns or face the wrath of their ray guns, which will turn them into grotesque cotton candy snacks.”
A few months ago I interviewed Massari and Charlie Chiodo about the ‘Killer Klowns’ concert that took place in LA. Check out the interview video with Massari below!
