New Georgia Film Exhibit Announced Featuring ‘Stranger Things’ and ‘The Walking Dead’
If you’re a film buff living in Atlanta, then mark your calendar for the new exhibit, Georgia on My Screen: Jimmy Carter and the Rise of the Film Industry. The new, exciting exhibition opens May 3, 2019 and is open until December 31, 2019. You’ve got lots of time to check it out – so no excuses!
The exhibit is a part of The Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum. And it walks you through the development and impact of the multi-billion dollar industry here in Georgia.
So what can you look forward to seeing? Over 60 artifacts from critically acclaimed films to prominent televisions shows! If you’re thinking Stranger Things or The Walking Dead, you guessed right!
There are over 20 artifacts from The Walking Dead, including Negan’s bat, and also iconic costumes from Netflix’s Stranger Things, like Eleven’s dress and Chief Hopper’s uniform.
