When we think of Disneyland or World, we think of magic. There is a certain type of joy you can find there that you can’t really find anywhere else. The cast members call you prince or princess, you’re immersed in your favorite fairytales, films, and stories, and you can truly feel the joy of childhood again. It’s the kind of experience that you keep with you forever.
So when we first heard that Disney was welcoming a ‘land’ dedicated to Marvel, we were thrilled. Our favorite heroes in our favorite place on Earth? Sign us up! Rumors began swirling about Avengers Campus last year, but we didn’t find out more until this week. That wasn’t totally unexpected considering the launch of Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge (which we can confirm…is incredible).
In a tweet posted yesterday, it was confirmed that Disney’s Avengers Campus is opening on July 18th.
JUST ANNOUNCED: Avengers Campus will officially open at Disney California Adventure on July 18!

Along with the announcement came information about what fans traveling to California can expect this summer.
“The Avengers are setting up new Headquarters and training facilities around the globe to inspire all potential recruits willing to step up and become something more. As part of this global initiative, Tony Stark has founded the Worldwide Engineering Brigade — or WEB for short — to develop advancements in super-powered technology, including new enhancements to Spider-Man’s suit as their debut project. By bringing together the world’s brightest young inventors, the WEB is creating new interfaces that will empower all of us to join the ranks of Earth’s Mightiest.”
To us, few things sound more incredible than that. Are you excited to visit Avengers Campus? Let us know!
