Just because I’m so excited for this show, I wanted to start this thread. Watching the sets for this around Atlanta was awesome and w/ the Saturday SDCC Comic-Con@Home I’m even more jazzed for the August 16th premiere! Who else?

This is the only show this fall that I’m truly excited about. With everything that is happening with COVID – I feel like fall tv will either suck or be non-existent. Lovecraft Country though – I think is going to be amazing and incredibly timely.

  Agree! With the filming delays on all the Marvel stuff for Disney+ this is about the best I can think we’re going to get right now, though starting to hear from them thankfully :). Even if they start back in Sept/Oct though, the releases will take a bit.

Michael K. Williams, one of the stars of ‘Lovecraft Country’ just did the IMDB Movies that Changed My Life Podcast. His three movies: Purple Rain, Boyz in the Hood and Dead Presidents.

I can’t believe there’s only one episode left…. with the current state of filming – I’m worried we won’t get a new season until 2022…

  I know!!!!! So far though, productions have been fairly successful at keeping things at bay so we’ll see. Fingers crossed cause I too can’t believe there’s only 1 episode left and this past week was goosebump-inducing for sure!

I loved Lovecraft Country! It was absolutely intense and amazing and gross and action filled and more. Absolutely crazy show but so well done and the cast was magnificent! I do hope they will continue on with the series!

I think there is a real possibility for a second season.
