I agree…it was not horrible by any means but I just expected it to be so much better. I am still thinking about it also!

I cannot wait to see ‘Death on the Nile’ either although it is going to be so hard to beat the original!

Have you watched Night Stalker on Netflix yet? So good and creepy…

I am so appreciative of having won a screening of this but I could not help but feel creeped out while watching it because I realized someone was making money off of our current pandemic situation.

I think what I like so much about it is that it does not have the typical happy ending. It is just a unique spin on the ‘revenge’ genre.

I agree…I will say I had high hopes when I first hear Tim Burton was doing a remake as he is just an interesting director but I am afraid it just did not work.

I had a chance to watch ‘News of the World’ tonight (thank you for the screening!) and it was a very good film. I can see why it is getting good reviews as the directing, cinematography, costume design are all stellar but the film definitely would not be what it is without the standout performances by Tom Hanks (as Captain Jefferson Kidd, a Civil War vet) and Helena Zengel (as orphan Johanna). Both do great work in this film and you can feel the onscreen chemistry between two as they interact with each other.

With all this being said, while it is a good Western, it is not a great one in my opinion. The film is good, don’t get me wrong, but it is slow at times and there a some very predictable moments that took away from the momentum of the film. I will say that I really did enjoy the ending, although it was, again, predictable, but it was still a good way to end the film.

This is one definitely worth watching.

Finished ‘The Flight Attendant’ and it was a great show! Good suspense and unique spin in some ways I thought.

I am watching “The Flight Attendant” and so far it has me hooked! I cannot watch it fast enough but I am trying to pace myself at this point.

This was an amazing series! The cast and their performances just blew me away! I loved the first season of “The Haunting of Hill House” as well but this season drew me in more emotionally. I especially fell in love with the character of Hannah Grose, beautifully played by T’Nia Miller. What she learns about herself is just gut wrenching. And the ending! Oh man…just perfect.

First of all let me thank you for the opportunity to watch this screening! Overall I did enjoy this film! I will admit that at first I was not crazy about the way it started as I thought it was somewhat farfetched so I almost gave up on it. Also, it is by far not the funniest film I have ever seen. However, I will say that as I kept watching the movie, the chemistry between the two main characters began to grow on me and the storyline did as well. I am so glad I finished watching it as it ended up having so many good messages to tell and I loved the ending. The score was also very good and I loved the song at the end. Plus, it was also very nice to watch a mainstream comedy that did not have a lot of curse words or felt the need to drop an F bomb every other word. I would definitely recommend this film!
