‘Us Weekly’ Reveals Who’s Picking Up the Tab at George Clooney’s Wedding

George Clooney’s wedding to Amal Alamuddin is quickly approaching and US Weekly‘s got the answer to who’s picking up the tab after the ceremony, taking place in Venice, Italy, ends and you’ll be surprised to learn who it is.

“Crazy enough,” a source reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly, “her family is paying for most of it!”

Us previously reported that Amal’s parents, Ramzi and Baria Alamuddin, helped choose the location of the wedding and wanted to have the ceremony take place in the fall. An insider told Us shortly after the couple’s engagement that Alamuddin’s mom and dad were “old-fashioned when it comes to these things.”

Alamuddin’s mother, Baria, is an editor at Lebanese newspaper Al Hayat and her father, Ramzi, is a retired business professor who taught at the Beirut branch campus of American University.

The wedding date is rumored to be September 27th and a source told the mag “It’s all very classy.”
