Following the success of Grimm and Dracula, NBC is looking to dip its quill back into supernatural drama once again. The network is at work on a series based on the 2010 remake of The Wolfman. The remake starred Benicio Del Toro and Anthony Hopkins and was poorly-received and was a financial failure, but the network seems to think it can turn it around in serial scripted drama.
The show is described as “a supernatural thriller that explores what it means to be a man and to be human. It centers on Lawrence Talbot, who is afflicted by an ancient curse and jacks into the powerful, primordial soul of the alpha-predator.”
