Andrew Kreisberg Talks What’s Next on ‘The Flash’

At this year’s San Diego Comic Con, Andrew Kreisberg, Executive Producer for The Flash, sat down with press to talk about what we can expect to see when the show returns in October. You can see the full interview in the video below, but here are a few of the highlights!

One of the biggest changes that Team Flash is going to have to handle this season is the fact that the Flash is now a public figure. The good people of Central City now understand that there are metahumans out there, and the Flash is the hero at the forefront of that. We’ll be seeing new Rogues, as well as some old favorites (including Grodd). Best of all keep an eye out for another Flarrow crossover in December, right around episode 8. The crossover story will be starting on The Flash and wrapping up the very next night on Arrow.

Sadly, for all the crossovers we’ll be seeing with Arrow and the new Legends of Tomorrow series, the one crossover we officially won’t be seeing is with Supergirl. According to Kreisberg, those universes are definitely not connected. Personally, I’m calling that a tragically missed opportunity.

The Flash returns to the CW on October 6th!
