‘Supernatural’ Star Jared Padalecki Teases Upcoming Impala Episode

Supernatural may be about the lives of Sam and Dean Winchester, brothers who hunt the supernatural, but there has always been another member of the Winchester family that’s been right by their sides, helping them to get through most of their troubles…the family Dean’s Impala (aka Baby).

An episode dedicated to the vehicle, who is every much a part of the story as any living characters, will debut in the new season, as we learned at San Diego Comic Con, and star Jared Padalecki (Sam Winchester) is teasing a “very cool” look at how important the Impala is to the show, the story, and the Winchesters.

“It’s done in a very clever Supernatural way, mind you, but episode four is a very cool episode,” Padalecki told Entertainment Weekly. “It’s all about the Impala. We’ve had this third lead character for 10 seasons strong and, we’re not revealing a personality, but we see just how much a part of the Winchesters’ lives it is.”

He also added, “You kind of see the Impala in work in all these scenes from seasons past where we haven’t necessarily know where it is or known how it got there. You see just how crucial a character it is.”

Supernatural returns for its season 11 premiere October 7th on The CW!
