Two Flashes Meet in New ‘The Flash’ Promo

The Flash returns in two weeks with new episodes, a new suit and another Flash.

The new promo released gives behind-the-scenes glimpses of the cast on set, as well as a few shots of what’s ahead in the next season, like a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it shot of Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) meeting original Flash, Jay Garrick (which we kindly screencapped for you, so you don’t have to miss it!).

Teddy Sears joins the cast as Garrick, “mysterious figure who arrives in Central City to warn Barry Allen and his team at S.T.A.R. Labs of an impending danger that he alone cannot hope to stop.”

“Having Jay Garrick come onto the show was one of our earliest ideas. It is so exciting, as we rush into season two, that we finally get to bring the Crimson Comet to life. We couldn’t imagine anyone more suited to play the original Flash than Teddy,” said The Flash EP Andrew Kreisberg when Sears’ casting was announced.

There are also quick shots of Garrick running on S.T.A.R. Labs’ treadmill, Allen’s Flash doing what he does best (being fast, duh!) and more.
