The plot thickens when Lydia’s daughter, Astrid, played by the talented Jenna Ortega, stumbles upon the enigmatic model town in the attic, inadvertently opening a portal to the Afterlife. As realms teeter on the brink of turmoil, it’s only a matter of time before someone utters the forbidden name thrice, summoning Beetlejuice back to wreak havoc.

With Burton at the directorial helm, the film marries his unparalleled visual style with a script by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar. The ensemble cast also features Winona Ryder, Catherine O’Hara, Justin Theroux, Monica Bellucci, Arthur Conti, and Willem Dafoe, each adding layers to the rich narrative tapestry.
