Devon Aoki Joins ‘Arrow’ as Character from DC’s Green Arrow Origin Graphic Novels

Sin City‘s Devon Aoki has been cast in a major recurring guest role on the Warner Bros. TV show Arrow on The CW. She will play Tatsu Yamashiro, who first appeared in the Green Arrow origin graphic novels by DC.

Yamashiro is codenamed Katana. She’s a Japanese martial arts expert who uses a sword as her weapon. Tatsu will be one of Oliver’s mentors in flashbacks and part of the reason he becomes The Arrow in present day.
