‘Pretty Little Liars’ Sneak Peek-Episode 5.20: Pretty Isn’t The Point

Pretty Little Liars returns with a new episode next week and things seem to be going from bad to worse for the girls.

Hanna has decided to enter a beauty pageant to help come up with tuition money since her sorry-excuse-for-a-father Tom basically told her she’s not worth it. Caleb is dead-set against the idea, but at least we’ll get to see Ashley and Shay dance because of it…could be worse. Aria’s suspicions of Mike continue to grow and Spoby looks like they’re headed straight to break-up town (and one of the most awkward run-ins on the series thus far…close behind Aria, Ali and the rape whistle).

Determined to get college tuition money without the help of others, Hanna pushes forward with her quest to win the local beauty pageant and hires a pageant coach to ensure her win. Quickly learning that you have to be more than a pretty face to win the grand prize, Hanna turns to Emily for help. Also needing a little help, Aria asks Andrew to help keep tabs on Mike, whose increasingly suspicious behavior suggests a chilling connection to Mona’s death. What Aria ultimately discovers makes her blood run cold. Meanwhile, Spencer decides to help Jonny on a less than legal adventure.
