‘The Walking Dead’ Star Steven Yeun Addresses Glenn’s Fate

The Walking Dead revealed Glenn Rhee’s (Steven Yeun) fate in last night’s episode.

The show wasted no time revealing what happened to Glenn, opening from the scene we last saw him in and panning down to show that, like many fans thought, the horde of zombies were actually chowing down on Nicholas. Glenn then slid underneath a nearby dumpster, and waited for the horde to disperse. It looks like everyone’s favorite pizza delivery boy-turned-man will live to see the wrong end of Lucille another day.

Following the episode, actor Yeun released a special message during an Into the Badlands commercial break, thanking fans for their support.

“I’ve been following everything you’ve been saying and it’s meant so much to me to see all of your support and concern for Glenn,” the actor said. “The Walking Dead has the best fans in the world and I’m happy to be back.”

Yeun also appeared as a special guest during last night’s episode of Talking Dead, with host Chris Hardwicke.

“I think it proves that this world still can take that story of the good guy winning sometimes,” Yeun said during the chat. “I really like the fact that it’s not this bent of always seeking out something miserable happening on television or something terrible and sulking on that and rather just really accepting the fact that sometimes good guys survive.”
