This ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Theory Explains Why So Many Asgardians Died

Avengers Infinity War Theory

The aftermath of Avengers: Infinity War completely shocked fans. Which leaves all Marvel fans anxiously waiting for Avengers: Endgame, but while we are waiting, we can look into some Avengers: Infinity War theories. Thanos succeeded in destroying half of the universe’s population, effectively killing over half of the Avengers. Although Thanos is an unforgiving character, he is especially cruel to the Asgardians, which leads us to this Avengers: Infinity War theory.

At the end of Thor: Ragnarok, the Asgardians are in peril and on their way to Earth. Thanos then intercepts their ship and kills half of the surviving Asgardians. When Thanos snaps his fingers, he kills another half, which is overkill if you ask me! Thanos kills anyone in his path to gather all six infinity stones, but there may be another explanation for the deaths of the Asgardians. A fan on Reddit came up with this Avengers: Infinity War theory about the excessive killings of the Asgardians.

This theory interestingly presents an ulterior motive to Thanos’ actions to the Asgardians. Whether this theory is true or not, the Asgardians suffered the most because of Thanos. Let me know what you think about this theory by commenting below!
