‘Avengers: Endgame’ Trailer Sees the Emotional Reunion We’ve Been Waiting For

Avengers Endgame

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, chances are, you were awake far earlier than you care to admit getting your ducks in a row to purchase tickets for Avengers: Endgame this morning. The film, a cumulation of the last 10 years of the MCU, is going to be a heartwrenching look into love, loss, and what lengths our favorite heroes are willing to go to ‘avenge the fallen’.

We didn’t want to get our hopes up, but we were crossing our fingers that we’d get new footage today of Avengers: Endgame along with ticket sales. Our wishes didn’t go unanswered.

Immediately after we secured our middle row, middle seats for the Avengers: Endgame fan event, we saw that familiar tweet from Marvel Studios. Tickets were officially on sale and some new footage accompanied the release.

Little did we know that we’d be shedding some tears this morning at a particular reunion, one we’ve been longing for – possibly more than we even knew.

It’s hard to pick favorites when talking about the Avengers, but everyone has them. You love Cap for his heart, Iron Man for his determination, and Thor for his undying belief in good. You love Black Widow for her resilience and the Hulk for his brilliance and also his internal struggle that you can relate to, also.

Don’t even get us started on characters like Bucky and Loki or Gamora and Groot either. There’s a hero for everyone in the Marvel realm and the loss of some of them is going to be impossible to navigate through.

There’s time for the heartbreak later, though. Right now, we’re focusing on those two Avengers that we can’t really call our favorites…but we can…and we are. Tony Stark and Steve Rogers have been a backbone of the Avengers. They bring their similar yet conflicting personalities to every table and they can usually work together in the end.

That was, until Captain America: Civil War. Now, we haven’t seen them together…we didn’t see them go through the toughest fight the Avengers have faced together.

Now, they’re coming back together under the ultimate test…trust. Can Steve and Tony find that trust in one another and come together for the good of the entire universe?

The answer looks to be a yes and with that…Thanos doesn’t know what’s coming for him. We can’t wait to see it on the big screen.

Fair warning: we’ve watched the new footage at least 10 times and we’re still getting chills. It’s THE footage fans have been waiting for…it’s what we’ve needed. These heroes, yeah…they’ve lost it all, but that’s not what they’re focusing on now. Now…it’s a look at what life and love still exist.

Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26th. The fan event is in select locations on April 25th, and tickets are available, now.
