Rachel Weisz, Blake Lively and Scarlett Johansson were all rumored for the role, but according to reports Natalie Portman has been offered the role. Portman has been receiving a ton of buzz for her performance in the Darren Aronofsky film ‘Black Swan’.
‘Gravity’ is the story of a female astronaut sent out to fix the Hubble telescope who is the sole survivor left stranded after space junk hits her transport.
