HBO Releases New ‘Watchmen’ Trailer at Comic-Con

We were hopeful that HBO would announce a release date at Comic-Con for the highly anticipated new series Watchmen, and that’s what we sort of got! We don’t have an exact date, but we know the show will debut this October.

In addition to that news, a cool activation in San Diego, HBO also dropped a new trailer which gave me chills!

If you’re not familiar with Watchmen, here’s what you need to know. For HBO, this new series (which is based on an amazing graphic novel) is hyped to be the next Game of Thrones for the network in terms of popularity. It’s set in an alternate history where masked vigilantes are treated as outlaws. With executive producer Damon Lindelof at the helm and a powerhouse cast that includes Regina King, Jeremy Irons, Don Johnson, Frances Fisher, and more – fans can expect the nostalgia of the original groundbreaking graphic novel while also exploring all new territory as well.
