CBS Early Renewal List Includes ‘How I Met Your Mother’, ‘Big Bang Theory’ And More!

CBS has announced that they are giving an early renewal to 18 shows on their schedule. The shows that will return for next season are as follows:

2 Broke Girls
Mike & Molly
Person of Interest
Hawaii Five-0
Blue Bloods
The Good Wife
NCIS
NCIS: LA
Criminal Minds
CSI
The Mentalist
How I Met Your Mother
The Big Bang Theory
Survivor
The Amazing Race
Undercover Boss
60 Minutes
48 Hour Mystery

CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler says, “This large-scale renewal is testimony to the strength, stability and success of a deep and diverse roster of top-rated programming. It positions us for continued success next season and certainly creates an environment that will give our new shows the best possible chance to succeed.”

Two and a Half Men is listed as one of the shows that was not given the early renewal, since the network is in “preliminary discussions” with Warner Bros. Television about more seasons. A new deal with Ashton Kutcher has yet to be signed.

The shows that have not been given the early renewal notification are:

Two and a Half Men
Unforgettable
Rob
A Gifted Man
CSI: Miami
CSI: NY
Rules Of Engagement

  1. As much as I love Unforgettable and CSI:NY I wouldn’t be surprised if they weren’t renewed. From everything I’ve read online the ratings aren’t that good. I still have hope though.
