Intro – About the game

Furmins is a physics-based action puzzler where your job is to get each Furmin to the basket, which is the end goal. There are many levels for you to play and each level is set up with it’s own obstacle. The Furmins are cute little creatures that are placed in a random spot on the map. Your is your job to edit and place objects in the right areas in order to help the Furmins reach the basket. You’ll have objects such as trampolines, ice cubes that melt, boards, etc., for you to place on the level to help the Furmins get to the basket. Once you are done setting up the level you’ll push the play button and watch as things happen to see if the Furmins make it to the goal. One thing that I really like about this game is that there are also interactive objects as well. So you are not always just sitting back and watching as the level plays out. You also have bumpers on some levels where you need to tap the screen in order for them to “bump”. As a Furmin approaches the bumper you’ll have to time it just right in order to “bump” them in the right direction.

There are many different objects that create a lot of fun obstacles for you to play out and enjoy in this game. Each level is a lot of fun to figure out and rearrange the way you see fit. You can push play to see how things unfold as many times as you need so that you can get a better idea of how the level will play out. Also, on each level are items that you will need to collect in order to get a perfect 3 star rating. So that also adds to the challenge, instead of just getting the Furmins to their goal. It keeps track of how many stars you collect and you will need to use those stars to unlock levels further in the game. You can also unlock a x2 multiplier so that instead of just earning the max 3 stars when you beat a level, you can earn 6 stars instead.

Gameplay – Controls

The gameplay is very simple, with touch based controls to drag and set objects on each level. Sometimes after you set up a level to your liking, there are levels that make it interactive after you push play. Whether you are “bumping” the Furmins or changing the direction of a treadmill, there is a lot of fun to have with the gameplay in this title even after you simply set up objects.

Sound – Graphics

Furmins has a nice little soundtrack that goes really well with those cute little Furmin guys. I really can’t say it much better than that. The music is not overly impressive but you’ll see that it fits the game well. Visually it looks very solid with good looking design.

Enjoyment Level – Fun Factor – Final Notes

Furmins is by far a fun and very enjoyable title for the App Store and I recommend it to everyone. Multiple times while playing this game I had a smile on my face because of the wonderful design and how great the game plays out. The levels are designed very well with fun obstacles that keep things interesting throughout. I would imagine a lot of people will fall in love with those little Furmins the way that I did and will enjoy every second that this game has to offer. At $0.99 cents there is no reason at all that you should not pick it up immediately. This is easily one of my top favorite iOS titles, if not thee favorite.
