CBS Cancels Otherworldly Drama ‘Medium’

It survived a near cancellation on NBC, a revival on CBS, and now, the network has pulled the plug on Patricia Arquette’s otherworldly drama Medium.

Series creator Glenn Gordon Caron confirmed the sad news Thursday via Facebook, stating:

“It’s true. Allison Dubois will dream her last dream on Medium Friday, January 21st. In what we believe will be a series defining episode, Allison and her family will stare destiny in the eye. And destiny will not blink.”

Fans may have seen this coming back in October, when CBS cut Medium‘s seventh-season episode order from 22 to 13.
